You can now download movies to your ipod

If you have acquired an ipod, the latest gift from the world of entertainment, you must know that you can do much more with it than just listen to music. You can actually download movies to your ipod and view them wherever you go with your ipod. Thanks to Apple that has come up with ipods for downloading movies as well.

Often people start fiddling with the gadgets without knowing how to get the best out of them. Here are some tips to help you get the hang of the procedure to download movies to ipod. The first step of the procedure is to subscribe to a network that supports the downloading operation. You will find such a network on the internet and you will have to pay a subscription fee. You will find many options to choose from. The best bet is to go for a network that has the lowest subscription fee but make sure it provides unlimited downloading of movies.

While selecting a website, you need to be careful of the sign up option and whether it is free or chargeable. The reason is that, you have to pay repeatedly for each download, once you have accepted. While willing to download movies to ipod, this is the first step you need to take. Once you have signed up for downloading movies to ipod, you can follow the under mentioned steps to download movies to ipod.

1. Click on the Browse button and you will see a list of movies available on the network path on your iPod to download movies to ipod, or any video. Choose your movie and click the title or the download option. Now, you will see the drop-down list. Choose the Video iPod or Sony PSP function to view the playback page of the video. Make sure you have enough space on your ipod to store a video before pressing the button to download movies to ipod. Then, click on the Video iPod or Sony PSP option, and press the download option.

2. Next step is to save the download; if you don't save it, you will lose it. So, create a folder to save the downloaded movie. Then, connect the iPod to the PC. You will require a USB port and cable to do this. After connecting the application, open "Apple iTunes". You will see an option in the file menu that allows you to add your file to the library. Look for the movie or video that has been downloaded on your computer, and click on the "open" option.

3. The next step involves five steps- first, click the "edit" option; second, click the "Preferences in the iTunes application" option; third, click "iPod"; fourth, click the "videos" option; and fifth, click the "Automatically update videos" option. After all this, click "OK" to download movies to ipod.

4. You have downloaded the movie on your iPod by the iTunes application. Now, you can sit back and enjoy the movie by clicking "Videos" and "Movies".
