However, downloading music directly from the internet to your iPod is still not possible at the moment, so what you will do first is to download the songs from a reputable site and save the music files on your personal computer. Then from your computer, you can now learn how to transfer music to iPod, and it is really fairly easy.

It is highly recommended that you look for reputable sites to download music from. Perhaps, you may be tempted to go for free sites, especially if you wish to download hundreds of music at one time. However, you must be aware that free sites are often not safe to download from. There is always the danger of getting infected with spyware, for instance, and you must know very well how spyware can cause damage to your system. Always go for quality, paid sites, even if they charge you almost one dollar to download a single song. In the end, you will realize it is the better option.

Now that you have the files stored in your computer already, attach your iPod to your computer, and the songs you have downloaded will automatically play.
