A Full Review And Commentary Of The LG KF510

By Chris Channing

Style is quite an important feature among today's mobile phones- and the LG KF510 doesn't fall short in pleasing in this category. But not everything in mobile phones must revolve around style- how it works should be the biggest factor in a purchase decision. So does the LG KF510 stack up to the prestige it gets from its style?

It's hard to disregard the sense of style the LG KF510 has when reviewing it. It has a very trendy metal finish that is hard to discount. The 2.2 inch display is also quite large in terms of today's mobile phone displays. The LG KF510 is also very slim in size, and even sports a touch screen for on the go lifestyles. Overall, the design department did a good job in developing the LG KF510.

The LG KF510 can in many senses be called a mobile entertainment center. The LG KF510 gives users easy access to the Internet through a mobile web browser. For those who can't get enough of their local music and talk shows, an FM radio is included in the package. Other options for videos, pictures, and programs also add to the entertainment value.

When it comes to networking a mobile phone, there aren't usually a lot of options with today's current brands of phones. But the LG KF510 offers USB 2.0 support that allows it to be connected easily to other devices to transfer files and information effortlessly. For a wire free environment, Bluetooth is supported- which allows mobile phone users to share information without a single wire.

Photography has become very popular among mobile phones. It's hard to find a mobile phone that doesn't have a camera attached. The LG KF510 follows suit by offering a very clear 3.0 megapixel camera that takes very crisp pictures. Included with the camera is an autofocus feature, which allows better shots to be taken on account of the lack of blur that is otherwise present in many mobile phone pictures.

Like many mobile phones with touch screen capability, the LG KF510 only works best indoors. When exposed to direct sunlight, mobile phone users will have a very tough time in trying to read anything on the screen. This detracts from having a mobile phone in the first place, if it can't be taken outdoors with ease. This isn't a big drawback, but it certainly can be annoying.

The 3G revolution has skipped the LG KF510. 3G access gives mobile phone users high transmission speeds and extra options for multimedia applications. While this is a disappointment, it isn't necessarily a reason to not by the mobile phone- especially if you aren't too keen on obtaining extra features you may not need.

Closing Comments

Although the LG KF510 doesn't have perfect scores in every department, it is still a wonderful mobile phone to have. It can keep up with most of the current technologies, has a great style, and is generally cheaper than many other new mobile phones. Certainly, it should be kept in mind when looking to purchase a new mobile phone.
