Unlocking Your Apple Iphone

By Charlie Reese

Get Your iPhone Unlocked: Why Bother?

When Apple's iPhone was launched in 2007 with the fanfare usually reserved for visits from the Queen of England, there was a lot of appropriate flack about its flaws. One of the flaws that made even non-geeks upset was that Apple made an exclusive deal with AT&T to be iPhone's only network. Customers want choice when it comes to their internet and phone carriers. But their expensive iPhones were locked into carrying only AT&T. The solution? Get your iPhone unlocked so it can carry any network you please.

Is This Legal?

Getting your iPhone unlocked is legal, even though Apple is not too happy about it. But that's only because they would rather everyone bought electronic gadgets from Apple and nowhere else, yet that free-enterprise bugaboo keeps getting in the way. There are many legal companies online that offer free software to get your iPhone unlocked such as iPhoneSIMfree.com.

Set Yourself Free

Before you decide to get your iPhone unlocked, ask yourself if it is really worth the bother. Although the software is free, you still have to do a lot of tricky technical instructions. If you don't even know how to get your toaster to work, you will find trying to get your iPhone unlocked far more trouble than it is worth.

Wasn't the iPhone originally supposed to make our lives easier by combining all kinds of gadgets into one palm-sized device? If you are already extremely busy, having health problems related to stress or have trouble concentrating, then trying to get your iPhone unlocked just may push you over the edge.

Is it just a coincidence that there has been a rise in public shootings since the release of the iPhone? And when friends and family of the killer are interviewed, aren't they always completely baffled as to how a mild mannered loner suddenly went postal with a pistol? I think we should check the belongings of these shooters very carefully. I bet you they all had iPhones and all of them were trying to get their iPhones unlocked before what was left of their tiny little minds snapped.

The danger to America isn't with terrorists - it's with these iPhones or any other gadget that claims to make our live easier only if you have a Master's in Quantum physics. If you want to see a remarkable drop in innocent bystanders being shot, get everyone with a gun together and shoot their iPhones. We'll all be free at last.
