Vonage Broadband Benefits

By Ray Lam

When it comes to phone service I've tried everything. We need phones and communication. It's a daily necessity. However it goes without saying that most of these alternative phone systems just don't work all that well. There was a service called Dial Pad that I got all excited over. Sadly, the service was not all that great.

Introduce the voice over IP internet phone service Vonage. I'm sure you've seen the commercial and web ads for them all over the place. Well I being the curious type decided to jump in with them and see what the service was like. After all what's to stop me from trying another phone service. Transferring your phone number is easy these days.

Vonage offers a set of four monthly packages for all calls in the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico: a premium unlimited offer at US$24.99, a basic plan of 500 minutes at US$14.99, a small-business unlimited package at US$49.99, and a basic small-business offer of 1500 minutes at US$39.99. For calls from the US to other world destinations, there is a nominal per-minute rate applicable, which is well below what you would pay to your landline service provider. For example, for a minute's call to Mumbai (India), you need to pay only US$0.17; for a call to the UK, it is as low as US$0.04 per minute.

Recently, broadband phone provider, Vonage was rated the biggest single online advertiser, serving in the United States. Companies providing VoIP solution related services, such as Vonage are quickly expanding to meet the future demands of the telecommunication world needs for efficient and cheaper ways to communicate whether it may be from home or business.

However, Vonage is a winner on features. If you have a dependable broadband connection, need to make frequent international calls, and travel to world destinations but need to stay in touch with the US, Vonage is for you.
